HUNMAC is committed to providing high-quality training in Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and humanitarian mine action while strengthening international professional cooperation.
We are proud to announce that a female demining specialist from Kharkiv, Ukraine, has successfully completed the HUNMAC EOD Level 1–2 training course. She successfully passed both the theoretical and practical examinations, demonstrating outstanding dedication, professionalism, and determination throughout the course.
The training was conducted in accordance with the International Mine Action Standards (IMAS) Test and Evaluation Protocol (T&EP) 09.30. Both the theoretical and practical examinations were carried out in full compliance with the requirements and competency standards defined by this internationally recognized protocol, ensuring that the qualification meets internationally accepted humanitarian mine action standards.
Although HUNMAC’s primary mission is not the training of individual participants, but rather the professional education and advanced training of military personnel, armed forces, and civilian humanitarian mine action organizations and companies, we decided to support her participation as a special initiative.
We believe that every well-trained demining specialist contributes to saving lives and making war-affected areas safer. Through the knowledge and practical skills gained during this course, she will be able to serve her country more effectively and contribute directly to Ukraine’s humanitarian demining efforts.
This initiative also represents HUNMAC’s contribution to supporting Ukraine. Even if only through professional education and the transfer of knowledge, we are proud to support those who dedicate themselves to protecting lives from the dangers of landmines and explosive remnants of war.
